Video of a young Simone Biles angry after falling off the vault resurfaced on the internet

Following a dream run at the 2024 Olympics for Simone Biles, an old video of the gymnast has resurfaced showing her competitive spirit from day one.

The 27-year-old’s run for redemption has been historic, with three gold medals and one silver in Paris.

Now, the most decorated Olympic gymnast has footage of a younger Biles looking angry after falling off the vault posted by the website X Historic Vids.

In the 23-second clip, Biles hit her stride as she ran toward the table, but failed to land on her feet after the flip. Biles nevertheless posed for the judges and walked off the mat.

She then proceeded to cross her arms as who appeared to be her trainer attempted to console her. Still upset from the jump, she walked away with her arms crossed.

Biles has come a long way since then, winning seven gold, two silver and two bronze medals at the Olympics in three games.

The feat is made even more impressive when you consider her retirement from competition at the Tokyo Olympics, where she won bronze on the balance beam.

Biles also has 23 golds, four silvers and three bronzes at world championships.

Her career in Paris began with a gold medal in the team competition, followed by a gold medal in the all-around.
