Adil Ray is canceling Bushra Shaikh after saying she will not be isolated after a trip to amber lands
Adil Ray has beaten Apprentice Star Bushra Shaikh in a debate over travel to Amber List countries.
Adil presented Good Morning Britain this morning with Charlotte Hawkins, the presenter chaired a debate between Shaikh, who lives in Surrey, and palliative care Dr Rachel Clarke, from Oxfordshire.
Shaikh argued that ‘adults’ should be able to avoid quarantine if they are responsible and have to test regularly because she insisted that ‘rules mean different things to different people’.
Shocked by her comments, Adil lashed out, saying her ideas were “ incredibly dangerous, selfish and irresponsible. ”
Meanwhile, Dr Clarke said she was “appalled” at Shaikh’s statement and likened traveling without quarantine to “drunk driving.”

Shaikh, a former Apprentice Star, said ‘rules meant different things to different people’, and people couldn’t be ‘held captive’
Viewers agreed with Adil, thanking him for shutting down Shaikh’s ‘nonsense’ on the show
“What I mean is, as parents, as adults, we all have responsibility, and rules may not look the same for everyone,” Shaikh said.
“ While we have to be quarantined for ten days, I could take a Covid test every day, I could do certain things to make sure my family and I don’t endanger anyone when we get back from vacation, ” she continued.
Her comments shocked Adil, who said ‘the rules are the same for everyone’.
‘I don’t understand that,’ the rules can be different ‘. I mean the rules are in English. It’s the same rules for everyone, ”he said.
Dr. Rachel Clarke, pictured at lower left, said she was ‘shocked’ and appalled by Shaikh’s comments
“It’s very, very clear, how can you interpret that? If we all interpret rules differently, we will get nowhere. We can all do whatever we want if we just think “I think I’m safe.” ‘
Shaikh argued that the Amber List system is flawed and if the government does not want people to travel to the Amber List countries, they should be put on the Red List.
‘You have to make things easy for people at the moment, if you say you have amber-colored countries and you have to put yourself in quarantine, you are actually saying,’ That country is not too bad ‘. So if you’re going to set certain rules, make them clearer,” she said.
Dr. Rachel Clarke compared traveling to an Amber List country without quarantine to ‘driving under the influence’
“That’s incredibly dangerous. That means we could have people who don’t take the test properly or don’t really quarantine and spread the virus,” Adil said.
‘People just say, “I have to go on vacation, this is way too much”. We can make it safe for everyone,” Shaikh insisted, adding: “We can no longer lock people up. ‘
Dr. Rachel Clarke said she was ‘shocked’ and ‘shocked’ by Shaikh’s comments.
“I am so shocked and horrified to hear someone say they are completely willing to go to an amber country and not go into quarantine as we are legally required to do,” she said.
“I find that incredibly and spectacularly selfish and irresponsible,” she added.
‘The quarantine rules are there for a reason, just like the rules for drunk driving for a reason.
People called out to Shaikh for her comment saying people like her were the reason the UK couldn’t shake off the coronavirus pandemic
Anyone who said live on television, ‘You know what, those rules, those rules are there, but I’m going to get drunk and drive because I have my own way of making sure I don’t kill people along the way because of my freedom to get drunk get and drive”, we would all be shocked by that person because they would act incredibly selfish and I believe it’s exactly the same.
“The rules are there to keep everyone safe,” she added, “Bushra might like to go on vacation and I’d like to too. But if the net result of her going on vacation and not going into quarantine is people dying because she’s coming back and causing an outbreak, that’s absolutely awful. ‘
Dr. Clarke reminded viewers that the NHS is still lagging behind in activities due to covid, and the waiting time for A&E is a whopping seven hours.
Adil agreed with Dr. Clarke, saying, ‘Bushra, your selfishness can make people die’ but the Apprentice star brushed off the comment saying, ‘Oh, come on, it’s not selfishness, it’s been going on for two years.’
“You say ‘be responsible’, but you are totally irresponsible. You say, “go to countries with high infection rates and come back and do whatever you want,” Adil continued.
“There can be nothing more irresponsible than that. You have heard of a doctor, you are not a professional doctor and neither am I, but they tell us the A&E is against it, the hospitals against it, why not try to help them? ‘ he said.
“Using the example of drink-driving just seems completely ridiculous to me, it’s not the same,” Bushra said, adding that she was speaking for people who “understand” they had to go on vacation.
“Bushra, just to remind you, 127,000 people were killed, it’s just as serious as drunk driving, it’s a big pandemic we’re talking about, it’s not just any minor disease.
“ This affects all of us, some of us lost loved ones during his pandemic and we owe it to those and other people around us to be responsible,
You couldn’t stay home for 10 days after spending two weeks in the Dubai sun, couldn’t you do that to save one life?
Bushra said she felt she had contributed to protecting the NHS over the past year and ‘saved many lives’.
Viewers agreed with Adil and criticized Shaikh’s ‘selfish’ behavior.
Bravo Adil Ray for bringing down one of your guests nonsense for not having to isolate himself to get to the orange zones on the travel list. She’s the ignorance and selfishness some people think so thanks for that #GMB well done, ‘one wrote.
