After wrapping up her multi-million-dollar residency in Munich last week, Adele revealed she’s taking an “incredibly long” break, but hasn’t said anything about her upcoming career plans.
However, sources have since shared where the Grammy-winning artist is headed next, and it could involve the big screen.
“I just need to rest. I’ve spent the last seven years building a new life for myself and I want to live it now,” the 36-year-old actor told his followers.
According to a source, Adele, 36, whose net worth is estimated at $220 million, has been preparing to swap the stage for the screen as she takes a break from singing.
“Adele has been taking intensive acting lessons with a top Hollywood coach for over a year,” a source told DailyMail.com.
“When he commits to something, he does it 100 percent,” they added.

The source claimed that the When We Were Young singer has “instructed” her team to “spread the word” to major film studios and producers that she is ready, and that they are already in talks about a few projects for her.
“A well-placed Hollywood source has warned him that, if he hasn’t already, he will need to take dialect lessons, as his natural Cockney accent will severely limit his roles,” the source added.
Another source said Adele will “eventually” return to touring, residencies and music and when she does, “the whole world will know.”
“There’s even been talk that when he comes back, he might add a Super Bowl performance to his return,” they joked.
This is not the first time the singer has suggested venturing into the cinema.
In December 2023, in an interview with The Hollywood ReporterThe Chasing Pavements singer alluded to her desire to break into Hollywood, revealing that there is a movie she wants to make but the writer is not “mentally ready” to pen the script.
“I tease him about it from time to time, but he’s not there yet,” she shared at the time.
“But that’s the only role I want. Because I think I’d be great at it. I think I’d be really, really, really good at it,” she said enthusiastically.
According to a source, Adele, 36, has been preparing for a possible acting role while taking a break from singing.
Another source said Adele will be “back” touring, residencies and music and when she does, “everyone will know about it.”

The singer, who is dating sports agent Rich Paul, said she gets offered roles in biopics of singers “all the time” but feels it’s “too obvious.”
“Besides, anyone who is great enough to have a biopic about them is just setting themselves up for disaster,” he noted.
“So they would want me to sing like myself? Because then I would sound like me, not like them. So I wouldn’t do it. But that’s all they’ve offered me, really.”
In a radio interview in July, she revealed that she wanted to focus on family and “other creative things” after her residencies ended.
“I have no plans to make any new music,” he said. “I want to take a big break after this and I think I want to pursue other creative things, even if it’s just for a little while.”
She is understood to be planning to move to the UK, where she has a luxury apartment in central London, later this year as she would prefer to raise her son Angelo there.
