Adele made an unexpected announcement to her fans this week as she prepares to bid farewell to her Las Vegas residency after two years of shows.
The 36-year-old singer revealed that she has no intention of making any new material anytime soon and also confessed that she plans to take a break following her series of residency dates.
Adele recently took a break from her residency in June, however, the star is scheduled to perform a series of eight shows at a special venue in Munich.
The series of shows will begin on August 2 and continue until August 24.
However, ahead of the shows, Adele has confirmed she has “no plans” to make new music once the residency ends.

The 36-year-old singer revealed she has no intention of making any new material anytime soon and also confessed she plans to take a break after her string of residency dates (pictured in 2022).
She told German Outlet ZDF:’I don’t have any plans for new music.’
“I want to take a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things. Even if it’s just for a little while.”
While previously speaking about her mini-residency, Adele admitted that it was “a bit random, but still fabulous.”
She added: “I couldn’t think of a more wonderful way to spend my summer and end this beautiful stage of my life and career with shows closer to home during such an exciting summer.”
The eight concerts in Munich will take place in an open-air venue created exclusively for the shows and will have a capacity for 80,000 people.
The Someone Like You singer will return to Las Vegas in October until her residency ends in November.
It has also been reported that the singer plans to return to the UK once her residency ends.
The 36-year-old singer and her now husband Rich Paul42 years old, bought Sylvester Stallone’s property Two years ago they owned a $58 million Beverly Hills mansion, but most of it was thrown away in a massive renovation.

But eight years later and with no sign of renovations to her Rocky mansion being completed anytime soon, has Adele given up on the American dream for now?
Adele’s assistant Rose Moon returned to the UK a few weeks ago and is currently organising the singer’s return as well. Sun reported Thursday.
Speaking about the megastar’s return to London, a source said: “It’s all part of a wider return home and once her Vegas shows finish in November, she has said she will be back.”
“Rose has already moved back to the UK and Adele will follow. Just like football, it looks like Adele is coming home.”
The source also claimed that Adele is “British through and through,” which has inspired her desire to return to her roots.
