- Winner said she could now afford to get married
One lucky gambler said he can now afford to get married after winning the $10.6 million Powerball.
The Adelaide ticket holder was the sole winner of the Powerball division one prize on Thursday night.
The winning numbers for the 1401 Draw were 4, 5, 7, 18, 19, 25 and 26 while the Powerball was 15.
The Sommerton Park man said he couldn’t believe his luck and revealed how he would spend his money.
‘Now I can finally afford to get married!’ he said. It’s a strange feeling. I feel strange!
‘I looked at my phone last night and thought ‘Wait! That looks different! I ran to my computer and looked at the ticket there instead.’
He said that he occasionally played Powerball and would always use his favorite numbers when visiting his local news agency.

“I’ve been visiting the Kylie Brown news agency for over six years,” he said.
‘I’m happy to know I got a division one winning entry from them. I’ll probably renovate a lot of things, no whirlwind vacations or anything like that.
‘I have to let it all settle!’
The winning ticket was purchased at Kylie Brown’s News Agency at Bayside Shopping Village in Glenelg.
Ms Brown said she was delighted that the ticket had been purchased from her news agency.
‘It honestly feels so good!’ she said.
“We were so close when we sold a split two on Powerball earlier and have been waiting to sell the big one ever since.”
‘Congratulations to the mystery winner and we wish them all the best with their multi-million dollar prize!’
The ticket holder is the second South Australian resident to win the division one prize in a month after a woman took home $4.6 million on March 9.
The total prize money in the latest Powerball was valued at $10,626,529.30.
