Adam Sandler has spoken out about how his two daughters, Sadie and Sunny Sandler, express concern for his well-being.

On Tuesday, August 20, the 57-year-old actor said People that Sadie, 18, and Sunny, 15, want him to be conscious of his health.

The Big Daddy star shared: ‘They always take care of me and my health just like I used to do with my dad.’

He explained: ‘You’d be like, ‘Man, I want this guy around,’ so I used to yell at my dad to quit smoking, and my kids would yell at me to calm down and try to eat a little bit more like a normal person.’

This comes after he previously revealed it during an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast that finds it difficult to exercise.

‘I used to take exercise really seriously… and now I can’t fucking do it,’ she confessed.

The Hollywood veteran explained: “I play basketball and then I eat. Every time I eat, I’m like, ‘What are you doing, man? You don’t need to do this.'”

“I can’t stop, I just have a little bit of thickness everywhere.”

She also shared that Sadie suggested she train with the trainer she used for 2008’s You Don’t Mess with the Zohan.

“It’s fucking hard now,” he continued. “My kids, one daughter, Sadie, she’s always like, ‘Dad, do you want Zohan to coach you? Why did you give that up? Why did you stop doing it?'”

The father of two said he told his daughter: “It’s a lot of work.”

And he added: “I can’t go back in. She’s right about everything. I don’t promise her anything. I tell her: ‘Let me think about it; it’s a good idea.'”

Sandler recently confirmed during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon that Travis Kelce will have a cameo in his upcoming film Happy Gilmore 2.

“Travis mentioned it, so we have something nice for him,” Sandler said. “He’s coming.”

She added: “He’s a really nice guy. You’d love him in real life. He’s a big, handsome guy. Great. He’s a stud and very funny.”

Kelce is a huge fan of the original film and said earlier this year on his New Heights podcast that he would love to appear in the sequel.
