Although Diablo 4 is the fastest selling game from Blizzard, there is a certain gamer who can’t play it.
That player is Oscar-winning actress Whoopi Goldberg, who said she bought the popular action RPG thinking she could play it on her Mac like the previous installments. Unfortunately for Goldberg, Diablo 4 is only available on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
In a video posted to her account at Instagramaccording to a report published by Entertainment WeeklyGoldberg pleaded with Blizzard to release Diablo 4 on Mac.
“Here’s what I’m asking of you, Blizzard,” Goldberg said. “This is Whoopi. You know how much I love Diablo. I’d love for all of us who use Apples to play…let us play on Apple. Take Diablo 4 and let’s do it and have a good time.”
“They gave me my Diablo 4 because I paid for it, I was so excited for it, I went to play it and, I tell you, it pissed me off a lot.”
Apparently, Goldberg didn’t read the list of supported platforms before paying her money for the game.
Diablo development director Rod Ferguson tweeted in response to Goldberg’s complaint, “The idea of ’Whoopi Goldberg yelling at me on Instagram’ was not something I envisioned would happen to me while planning the launch of #DiabloIV.”
I did not have “Whoopi Goldberg yelling at me on Instagram” on my #DiabloIV launch bingo card.

Diablo 4 was a smash hit and received positive reviews from critics and players, despite concerns about its internal purchases. It also enjoyed a relatively smooth launch, too. We can now add the lack of a Mac version to the list of complaints.
