The brother of actress Julia Fox’s “mad scientist” has been arrested after a raid on her Upper East Side home turned up ghost weapons and narcotics-making equipment, law enforcement sources said Thursday.

Members of the NYPD’s Phantom Weapons Team executing a search warrant at the apartment on E. 84th St. near Second Avenue seized paraphernalia used to press narcotic pills and parts of ghost weapons, police said.

As police searched the apartment, they also found pressure cookers and various chemicals, which can be used for both explosives and to make illegal drugs, police said.

“Upon finding those items, the Ghost Gun team immediately requested additional resources to help investigate and seize the items,” an NYPD spokesperson said. “The chemicals found were deemed non-hazardous.”

Fox’s father and brother were taken into custody, but only the brother, Christopher Fox, 30, was charged.

Julia Fox told an interviewer in 2019 that she grew up in Upper Manhattan with one of her two brothers.

“One is close to my age and the other is 15 years old,” Fox told Highsnobiety. “The 15-year-old lives in Italy with my mom, but the oldest grew up with me in New York. He still lives here, but he’s not really around here.

“He’s like a reclusive mad scientist,” added the 33-year-old “Uncut Gems” star. “He build 3d printers for fun.”

Detectives charged Christopher Fox with a series of charges including weapons possession, drug possession, fabrication of a machine gun and fabrication of a “rapid-fire” weapon, police said. Fox’s arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court was pending Thursday morning.

Police do not believe the men were involved in terrorism and are still investigating.

An NYPD spokesman described the raid as part of a “long-term specialist investigation into ghost weapons and narcotics.”

“The NYPD will continue to relentlessly fight illegal guns, both against the continued proliferation of traditionally manufactured firearms and the growing number of untraceable but fully functional illegal weapons known as ghost guns.” the spokesman said.

Last week, NYPD detectives arrested a Queens aircraft mechanic for collecting an arsenal of untraceable high-powered ghost weapon kits, including assault rifles, semi-automatic pistols and silencers.

Grzegorz Blachowicz, 36, was charged in a 131-count complaint with possessing a fully assembled assault rifle and about 19 kits to build non-serialized polymer-based firearms. He stored the cache in the backyard of his parents’ home in Glendale, police said.
