It was revealed that veteran actor “Sylvester Stallone” would once again return as “Gabi Walker” during the reboot of the 1993 film Cliffhanger.
Although details of the film have not yet been revealed, it was announced that Angel Has Fallen director Rick Roman Woo will helm and direct the film. Rick stated:
Growing up with the biggest action movies of the 80’s and 90’s, and having worked on many of them myself, Cliffhanger was by far one of the best. To be at the helm of the next chapter climbing the Italian Alps with the legend himself Sylvester Stallone is a dream come true. It will be a huge challenge to take this title to new heights and it is a responsibility I do not take lightly.
Cliffhanger debuted in 1993 with Sylvester Stallone playing former mountaineer Gabe Walker who becomes entangled with a group of criminals who lose their $100 million stash in the Rocky Mountains.
