The Los Angeles makeup artist, stabbed more than 20 times by her boyfriend and left for dead, was granted a temporary restraining order just three days before the attack, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.
In her application, Allie Shehorn, 35, claimed she had suffered a shocking list of abuse including rape, strangulation and beatings with a belt.
Days later, on May 23, Shehorn was violently attacked in her own home allegedly by actor Nick Pasqual, 34, who was arrested this week in Texas while trying to flee across the border into Mexico.
Shehorn was charged Wednesday afternoon with attempted murder, first-degree home invasion and domestic violence battery, and will be extradited to Los Angeles. He faces life in prison if he is convicted.
The boyfriend, who most recently appeared as a supporting character named Thresher in the 2023 film Rebel Moon, previously attacked Shehorn on at least four occasions.
This was according to the makeup artist’s request for a domestic violence restraining order obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.
Actor Nick Pascal allegedly stabbed his girlfriend Allie Shehorn 20 times before fleeing to Texas. They are photographed at an ax throwing club where they went to celebrate her birthday last October.
Allie Shehorn, 35, a Hollywood makeup artist, was stabbed, allegedly by Pasqual, who was then arrested in Texas trying to cross the border into Mexico.
According to the documents, which were filed on May 18, Pasqual beat her with a belt on January 29, broke several doors at her home in Sunland, California, on March 6, and raped and strangled her on April 14.
The escalating abuse, which peaked with the horrific stabbing on May 23, also included a violent incident on May 18 that led Shehorn to seek a restraining order.
According to the makeup artist, Pasqual got angry around 3 a.m. ‘and started yelling at me, which happens when he’s under the influence.’
She continued: “He slapped me and as I was trying to escape down the hall, he grabbed my hair, pulled me back and I crashed to the floor hitting the back of my head on the floor.”
Shehorn says she tried to hide in the bedroom of a friend named Christine White, 62, who shares the former couple’s home.
Pasqual then allegedly tried to break down the door and when she opened it, he pushed her against it, causing her to fall to the ground and hit her head again.
According to Shehorn, the incident left her with a concussion while Pasqual threatened White while she dialed 911.
The Los Angeles makeup artist received a temporary restraining order from her ex-boyfriend three days before the attack
Shehorn had complained to police of suffering a series of abuses at the hands of Pasqual, including being raped, strangled and beaten with a belt.
In her request for a restraining order, obtained by DailyMail.com, Shehorn claimed that Pasqual previously attacked her on at least four occasions.
LAPD booking records show that Pasqual was arrested and charged with a felony at 10 a.m. the same day, but was released from jail at 3:23 p.m. that afternoon.
The restraining order request also includes a disturbing account of Pasqual’s alleged rape on April 14 at an Airbnb.
On that occasion, Shehorn said the couple had been drinking the day before and had started having sex early that morning.
She said Pasqual had started to hurt her so she asked him to stop, only for the 34-year-old to continue and grab her by both wrists as she struggled to escape.
When he was finally able to get up, Pasqual went on an angry tirade, telling him that he didn’t love him if he didn’t let him have an orgasm.
Then, as she tried to leave the room, Pasqual allegedly grabbed her by the neck and squeezed her, only releasing her when she threatened to scream and alert other people on the property.
Shehorn added: “He has been violent in the past but never physically with me except two nights when he ripped my clothes off (sic).”
DailyMail.com can also reveal that Pasqual, who appears in an episode of How I Met Your Mother in 2011, has previous convictions, including one for DUI in July 2013 and another the following February.
Pasqual is an actor who has had several roles in television series, including NBC’s Gone.
Pasqual starred in the 2023 film Poor Paul alongside Adam Carbone and Abhi Sinha.
In the request, the special effects makeup artist also asked for protection for White and Riley, the couple’s white husky-mix dog.
A hearing had been scheduled for June 11 in Pasadena on whether the temporary restraining order was permanent, while Pasqual was scheduled to appear in court on a felony charge in San Fernando on June 12.

Shehorn is recovering from the stabbing attack in the hospital and White told local news outlet KTLA that he is in “good spirits.”
White said he returned home to find Shehorn surrounded by blood in her bedroom, which he added was “not a pretty sight.”
“This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anyone,” he continued. “You don’t think this will ever happen to you.”
TO GoFundMecreated to help Shehorn deal with her mounting medical bills, added in an update Monday that White “acted quickly when he found Allie bleeding out,” a move that “saved her life.”
