Officials in Pennsylvania have issued a ‘shelter in place’ warning after several people were shot by an active shooter in the area.
The Middletown Township Police Department has advised people at 10 Saturday morning to stay out of Fall Township as there have been multiple shooting victims.
‘This is a fluid situation and we are asking the community to take some precautions. Do NOT travel to Falls Township for now. If you live in areas bordering the Falls, you should shelter in place until further notice,’ police officials said online.
Police are also asking residents to lock all doors and move to a central and safe location away from windows.
Authorities have also closed Oxford Valley Mall and Sesame Place Philadelphia for the time being.
Officials have not clarified whether the victims are specifically targeted or random.
