The romantic comedy, produced by Binge and Foxtel, has become an international hit, with rave reviews in both the UK and US.

Talking with him Daily Telegraph On Thursday, Hara, who plays James alongside stars and co-creators Patrick Brammall and Harriet Dyer, said it is the uniquely Australian sense of humor that gives the show its edge.

The romantic comedy-drama was passed over by ABC after the national broadcaster had concerns about the race of the main characters.

Comedian Celeste Barber, 42, has joined the show’s cast and a trailer released last month promised plenty of funny moments as the leads continue to find themselves in awkward situations.

Also joining the cast are Winner & Losers star Virginia Gay, Mr Inbetween star Justin Rosniak, Home and Away’s Lynne Porteous and Blue Heelers actor John Howard.
