‘Pulisic and Leao are confident. “Players like them, even on a tough night, can make an important play,” he said.

“I made the changes when I thought it was right.”

Leao has suffered inconsistency with Milan this season after a super campaign last season.

The 24-year-old winger has scored just six goals in Serie A, compared to 15 last season.

A Gianluca Mancini header sealed Roma’s 1-0 victory on Thursday and ensured everything is on the line in next week’s second leg.
