TikTok influencers have called the off-the-shoulder mini dress “the perfect little black dress” and called it the ultimate outfit to wear on vacation while showing off your purchases.
On Instagram, it has proven equally popular, as crowds of young women posed in front of Christmas trees while wearing the little satin dress.
However, Philadelphia-based content creator Savvy Sam Shops shared a video and declared, “The bloggers who posted this Abercrombie dress are lying…” before modeling the little black dress herself.
Sam raised her arms, revealing that the long-sleeved dress surprisingly had no fabric under the arms, leaving her armpits completely exposed.
Sam, who prides herself on finding “the best deals on things so you don’t have to”, was less than impressed with the Abercrombie minidress and warned her followers not to fall for it.

Another commenter compared the “absurd” design to a straitjacket, as it limits the ability to move.

However, one shopper gave A&F the benefit of the doubt and asked, “Maybe they were thinking about people who sweat a lot?”
