After Charity Lawson handed out her last rose The Bachelorettethe ABC dating franchise revealed the star of the upcoming 28th season of The Bachelor.
Joey Graziadei, Lawson’s Season 20 runner-up of The Bachelorette which aired its finale Monday, will be the new Bachelor for the season that premieres next year. Graziadei is a 28-year-old tennis pro from Collegeville, Pennsylvania, who missed the final rose Lawson gave to winner Dotun Olubeko.

During a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter After taping her “Men Tell All” special, Lawson praised Graziadei’s character. “Joey is just someone who is extremely sincere and just patient and very loving,” she said. “He has a compassionate heart.”
What made Olubeko stand out, said Lawson THR at the time: “When I’m with Dotun, you see exactly this unmistakable chemistry. It almost seems like it’s just something that’s meant to be. To me, throughout this whole journey, the way they were both extremely intentional, and I never felt like I had to question why they were there is huge. With Dotun and Joey, I had peace of mind that I didn’t have to worry about that at all, so I could continue to expand our connections.
