David Muir easily wins the Instagram battle of the evening news anchors. The 44-year-old journalist who took over the anchor seat of Diane Sawyer in 2014 has more than 233,000 Instagram followers.

Together they are known as the "big three" of television news, but ABC World News Tonight host David Muir wins the battle of Instagram against his two competitors, NBC host Nightly News Lester Holt and CBS presenter Evening News, Jeff Glor.

Muir routinely publishes vaporous selfies displaying his bulging biceps in perfectly angled photos that capture his chiseled jaw.

The 44-year-old native of New York, who took over as anchor for Diane Sawyer in 2014, has quite easily won the end of the social networks against Holt and Glor.

Coming with more than 233,000 followers, Muir apparently makes sure to keep his social media audience entertained and committed to thirst trap selfies.
