Speaking to the Sydney Morning Herald, the five-time Walkley Award winner revealed that Hollywood actor Affleck was “pretty high up on the list” when it comes to less-than-stellar interviewees.
‘It happened when I looked at the story and I thought initially, you know, knowing a little bit about how these companies work and knowing, you know, knowing instinctively that it wasn’t just the white people who worked at this company that were relevant to the story.
“And I didn’t want to tell that story. Fortunately, Michael was kind enough to make himself available to me and tell me where the three people he thought were most relevant to this case were… and he also talked about his father and mother.”
Ferguson’s bombshell comes amid significant turmoil in Affleck’s personal life.

Meanwhile, Sarah shares three children with fellow award-winning journalist Tony Jones: Felix (Tony’s son from a previous relationship), Cosmo and Lucien.
She added that she was very happy about the fact that Cosmo and Lucien had moved back from Canberra, where they were studying, and were living together in Sydney.
“It’s so cute I want to die. The rewards of this period of time… Honestly, I could cry on our plates,” she admitted.
‘Having children is wonderful, but being a working mother is very difficult: the school term and all the micro-anxieties that come with being a mother.
