ABC Cancels Prime Time TV Show in Shocking Decision

ABC has removed its primetime talk show The ABC Of… after two seasons.
The show’s host, David Wenham, broke the news on Twitter, writing: “Thank you for the wonderful responses to The ABC Of Interview Series.”
“Unfortunately, ABC has decided today not to re-commission the series.”
ABC has used the show to air interviews with Ita Buttrose, Julia Gillard, John Howard, and Wendy Harmer.
David Wenham broke the news that ABC’s The ABC Of… was ending after two seasons
television tonight reported that the episodes of the last season garnered around 300,000 viewers in capital cities.
The show’s description stated: “Famous Australians delve into their past to uncover hidden archival gems, exploring how they changed Australia and how Australia changed them.”
Tennis champion Evonne Goolagong Cawley and comedian Wil Anderson were also some of the guest appearances on the series.
