ABC left viewers furious Thursday night after opting to delay the ESPY Awards and show the entirety of Joe Biden’s delayed NATO press conference.
Viewers tuning into the awards ceremony at 8 p.m. on ABC were treated to a gaffe-filled speech by the President on stage in Washington, D.C.
A message at the bottom of the screen informed viewers: “The ESPYs will be viewed in their entirety in the Eastern and Central time zones following this ABC News special report.”
Viewers on Twitter were furious at the decision. One wrote: “Nobody cares about this Biden guy, put your damn ESPYs on!” while another added: “WHERE ARE THE ESPYS? Get Biden off my screen please.”
