Abby Cohen looked smitten with her partner David Warner as they celebrated her friend’s wedding in Wales on Friday, amid her ex-husband Ben’s relationship troubles.

The 45-year-old mother-of-two was left distraught in 2013 after her ex-husband Ben ended their 11-year marriage by falling in love with Strictly dancer Kristina Rihanoff, with whom he is now having problems.

Professional photographer Abby still looked happier than ever with her handsome beau as she snuggled up to him while they enjoyed a sunny day in the countryside.

Abby looked radiant in a floor-length black floral dress that featured a slit at the side.

Sharing her sweet snap on Instagram, she wrote: “So lovely to be invited to a wedding instead of being the photographer. Family time celebrating Jack and Kelsey’s special day with my ‘very’ handsome man. #Wales.”

Her sweet post comes after her ex Ben laid bare their relationship and money issues when he appeared in court with his partner Kristina after she was caught driving without insurance.

The 45-year-old Rugby World Cup winner said he was “fighting to save his relationship and his home” after the 46-year-old professional dancer was spotted at the wheel of his £30,000 Audi Q3 in Northampton on April 4.

Kristina had six points removed from her licence but faced a ban for accumulating 12 penalty points.

She went to court to appeal her conviction for driving without insurance, and Ben appeared as a witness to reveal he had been shopping around for cheaper insurance after being quoted £7,500 by Aviva.

During the appeal hearing earlier this month, Ben admitted to overlooking a text message from his insurance company before the incident, while his partner sobbed throughout the hearing.

The couple fell in love after teaming up on the eleventh series of Strictly in 2013.

The court heard they had set up several businesses, including a yoga studio, which had suffered during the Covid pandemic.

Ben said: “I wake up every day and fight to keep from losing everything – my cars, my house and my relationship. I’m so in over my head.”

Asked about the tensions in his relationship with Kristina, he said: “We’re still living together. We’re in it financially.

‘We’re in business together, so the problem is that we opened the business before Covid and we got hit with the worst of it and honestly, this is another problem I have to deal with.

“I have overdrawn credit cards. I’m overdrawn on both accounts. We have business debt due to Covid. It’s just another problem.”

Kristina cried throughout the hearing and had to leave the courtroom with her hands over her mouth because she felt sick.

She spent the rest of the hearing wrapped in a white blanket and holding a handkerchief over her eyes.

She told the court she needed to drive to judge ballroom dancing competitions across the country, which earned her £2,000 a month.

She also said she needed to drive to take her children to school.

Ben confirmed that he had been solely responsible for obtaining insurance for the couple’s cars.

The court was told the former rugby star had been looking for cheaper insurance online at the end of February after being quoted £7,500 by Aviva.

He said he had taken out a policy with Dial Direct on 22 February, paying monthly by direct debit.

In March, she was abroad when she received a text message telling her that Dial Direct would cancel her insurance unless she sent them her no-claims details.

He said he did not have a no-claims bonus, so he did not send any details to the company and did not respond, so the policy was cancelled on March 7.

On April 14, Kristina was stopped while driving without insurance in Northampton town centre.

The court heard that when police officers called him on the phone, he immediately tried to take out another policy with the same company.

Asked on April 14 whether he was aware that the policy had been cancelled, he replied: “I was not aware at all that the policy would be cancelled because the no-claims information they had been asking for was not relevant to me.”

She added: “I didn’t know until I got the call from Kristina and then I said ‘what are you talking about?'”

He also said he had not told Kristina about the insurance cancellation.

He also admitted that he had not asked Kristina about the dates of her previous speeding violations before taking out the policy.

Judge Louise Cox rejected her appeal but told Kristina she had “every sympathy” for her.

She said: ‘We consider that you had an honest belief that you were insured, but we do not accept that belief was a reasonable ground for explaining your lack of insurance.’

She subsequently left the show in 2015 when she became pregnant with their daughter, now eight years old (pictured together in 2022).

The judge said Rihanoff should have made sure he was safe before driving.

He was ordered to pay £357 in appeal costs.

In May 2021, Kristina told the Mail that the couple had “invested everything we’ve ever had” into a yoga and fitness centre in Northampton.

“We got into the business for very serious reasons, we never considered ourselves celebrities, like, ‘I’m going to sell wine or cheese, just for fun.’ It wasn’t like that for us.

‘I have qualifications in about ten different styles of yoga: postpartum, pregnancy, traditional… I didn’t just think, “Oh, I’m going to do yoga now.”

‘I have been practicing for 20 years.’

But less than a year later it was reported that wellness brand Soo Yoga owed £426,431 and had cash reserves of just £2,648 as debts soared due to Covid lockdowns.

Ben fell in love with the Russian dancer even though he was married at the time.

She subsequently left the show in 2015 after becoming pregnant with her daughter, who is now eight years old.

Earlier last year, Ben said his relationship with fiancée Kristina had been “strengthened” by the “tough times in business” leading up to their wedding.

He said HELLO! Magazine: ‘Over the past nine years we have been through very difficult times.

‘Supporting each other through tough times in business is the ultimate test of a relationship.

“I have watched her thrive, from becoming a mother to growing as an entrepreneur, and that has strengthened our bond.”

They told the magazine they plan to make the big day a family affair with their daughter and Ben’s twin daughters, both 15, who he shares with first wife Abby, who will act as bridesmaids.

Kristina said: “She’s already told me what she’s going to wear. ‘I want this kind of dress, Mommy, with a long train like the one you’ll have,’ she tells me. She knows exactly what she wants.”
