Abbie Chatfield discusses Channel 10’s pre-Logies ‘house of horrors’ event and Sandra Sully’s treatment: ‘She deserved better’

Abbie Chatfield has revealed how Channel 10 groomed and spruced up their stars for this year’s Logies.

The 28-year-old reality star revealed on Thursday that the network has installed hair and makeup stations in the network’s marketing department to enhance its star pool.

‘I had to go to Channel Ten studios to do my hair and make-up. I’m at the workstations and everyone is there,” he began her on the most recent episode of her It’s A Lot podcast.

“Sandra Sully is behind me saying, ‘Hello, honey.’ Osher Günsberg is there, Lincoln Younes, we’re all in the office and it’s fucking weird, Twilight Zone vibes.”

‘Why is Sandra Sully sitting in someone’s office chair drying her hair? Sandra deserves more than this,’ she questioned.

Abbie Chatfield has been outspoken about Channel 10’s pre-Logies hair and make-up routine, joking that network celebrities deserve better. Pictured: Chatfield at the TV Week Logie Awards ceremony last month

‘It felt like a dance concert, where everyone is in an impromptu setup. At one point I opened a door and someone said, “Anyone want a naked Peter Helliar?” It was like a House of Horrors,” he continued.

Abbie went on to explain that she had to change into her outfit in the staff bathrooms, rather than in a hotel room, as is often the case at Logies night.

Abbie finished by saying that even though she wasn’t prepared, she enjoyed the experience, despite her office surroundings and being prepared at someone’s desk.

Elsewhere on the podcast, Chatfield fired an extraordinary spray at Gold Logie winner Sonia Kruger, accusing the TV presenter of holding discriminatory views.

The Masked Singer judge discussed Kruger’s recent win on her It’s A Lot podcast and revealed her disapproval, following his “disgusting” comments regarding Muslim immigration.

“It’s very easy for white feminists to say, ‘A woman won.’ Aren’t you glad a woman won? Yes, not Sonia,’ she began.

“I’m not happy that someone who made discriminatory comments on the Today show about Muslims in 2016 won.”

Chatfield added that she was disappointed that Sonia was not using her fame as a platform to help those in need.

‘How about you use the privilege you have as a white woman to not discriminate against people of color?’ she said.

Daily Mail Australia has contacted Channel Seven for comment.
