Abbie Chatfield has revealed that she will be leaving the internet following Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election.
Donald Trump was re-elected president of the United States on Wednesday (AEST), defeating his opponent Kamala Harris in a dramatic and close race.
The news didn’t sit well with the 29-year-old FBoy Island host, who took to social media to express her displeasure over Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Kamala Harris’ loss.
Abbie shared a short clip that showed her staring into the camera while a tweet was superimposed over the image that read: ‘I saw a tweet that said the only thing an American hates more than a rapist is a woman.’
Captioning the clip, Abbie revealed that the news of Trump ascending back to the White House was enough to make her step away from all internet-related media, even if only for a short period of time.
“That’s why it hurts (and so much more),” Abbie wrote. “Anyway, I won’t be on the internet for the next 2 days or so.”
Abbie’s post received an outpouring of support from fans, with many telling the media personality they sympathized.
‘I send you a hug and a good idea to take a break. This is going to be crazy. “I’m so devastated and I don’t even know how to comfort people,” one fan wrote.

‘What do you say about this?’ they added, summarizing the feeling of many.
Abbie, who had been posting at a steady pace about the US election on Wednesday, also shared an image showing her with her hands covering her eyes, while the caption admitted she had been “sobbing”.
He shared another long post following Trump’s victory, with an open ‘apology letter’ to the United States titled ‘America, I am literally so sorry.’

“I feel sorry for anyone who now lives in a country where a convicted felon was elected to the highest office,” the post began.
‘I feel sorry for anyone now living in a country where the need for an abortion could cost them their livelihood (or their literal life).
Next, Abbie also highlighted podcast king Joe Rogan and X owner Elon Musk, who gave their support to Trump.
“I feel sorry for anyone who lives in a country where young men don’t seem to have any proper role models… on the left and are instead left with people like Joe Rogan and Elon Musk to teach them what masculinity is like. “I feel like it,” the expansive post continued.

In closing, Abbie also found some time to shift the blame to Democrats, arguing that Kamala Harris’ team didn’t change the tactics that had “failed” them in the past.
“I feel sorry for anyone who worked tirelessly to campaign against Trump, using the same playbook that failed the Democratic Party in the past, and still continued to operate with hope,” he concluded.
Abbie also recently criticized Donald Trump in a foul-mouthed rant on her podcast.
In September, Abbie shared a very profane clip from the latest episode of It’s A Lot on Instagram.
The Bachelor star, who studied real estate economics in college, took issue with Trump’s foreign import tariff policy.
‘He thinks he’s charging China a tariff! But the tariffs go to the fucking wholesaler who imports the products,” Abbie fumed. Rates don’t work like that!’
The podcaster later went on to call Trump a serial liar.
‘I’m not saying you’re stupid for not knowing this, but as a presidential candidate, he lies repeatedly.
And then people say, ‘Trump’s economic policy is the only thing I agree with,’ and I’m like, ‘The bastard doesn’t know what tariffs are!'” he said in the clip.
