On Boxing Day, Abbie took to Instagram to share an intimate video of Adam handing her a horseshoe necklace.
The family meaning of the jewelry is what excited the FBoy Island star.
The necklace, designed by Melbourne-based artist Millie Savage, is a replica of the one worn by Abbie’s late grandmother Carmel.
Abbie’s new piece was made even more meaningful with the inclusion of her and Adam’s birthstones.

“That would have taken a lot of planning and it also looks like the color of Grandma’s eyes.”
As Adam stood behind her to secure the necklace around her neck, she wiped tears from her eyes.
Captioning the sweet video, Abbie admitted that she had never felt so excited to receive a gift.
“I have never cried so much over a gift,” she wrote.
‘Adam never got to meet my grandmother, but he knows how much she means to me. My mom has worn my grandmother’s horseshoe necklace since she passed away.
“So Adam made me a custom horseshoe necklace.”
Abbie also paid a sweet tribute to her grandmother and revealed that Carmel had been one of her strongest role models.
Taking to Instagram on Boxing Day, Abbie shared an intimate video showing Adam gifting her a horseshoe necklace.
The necklace, made by designer Millie Savage, was a replica of the one worn by her late grandmother Carmel.
“My grandmother was my favorite person in the world and a huge reason for the beliefs I hold so strongly,” he continued.
“She was an orphan who became a dentist in Queensland in the 1950s, 30 years before women could have bank accounts.”
She then praised her attentive boyfriend, who even enlisted the help of Abbie’s mother to make her dream gift a reality.
‘Adam hears about her every day, so he wanted to give me something that reminded me of her. “He called my mom to help him design the necklace,” she said.
“I went back and forth with my favorite jewelry designer to make it perfect.”
He concluded the sweet sentiment by admitting that his grandmother was never far from his mind, especially during the holiday season.
“I had cried the night before at dinner saying I wish Grandma would come to Christmas and now, in a way, she was there,” he wrote.
The sweet video was met with a flood of comments from fans, many of whom gushed over the couple’s strong bond.
