Aaron Rodgers underwent surgery for his torn Achilles tendon, he revealed on his Instagram Story.
The quarterback admitted he was “completely heartbroken” after his season-ending injury suffered Monday against the Bills, but appeared to be in better spirits as he posed with a sweet smile from a hospital bed .
“The surgery went well yesterday,” he wrote at the top of the photo on his Instagram Story.
“Thank you for all the love, prayers and support. And thank you to (GOAT) Dr. El Attrache and his team for putting me on the road to recovery.
Following his stunning injury on Monday, Rodgers posted on Instagram: “Thank you to everyone who reached out, called, texted, DMed, connected via friend, etc. This means a lot to me, and I will try to get back to you all soon
