Jets offensive tackle Morgan Moses appeared to suffer a serious knee injury during a sack of Aaron Rodgers on Thursday night.

Late in the third quarter of New York’s blowout win over the New England Patriots, Rodgers was tackled by Joshua Uche as he attempted to make a play.

But as Uche dragged Rodgers to the ground, the defender’s body twisted and rolled over Moses’ leg, causing him to bend awkwardly.

Moses immediately writhed on the ground in agony but, after some treatment, eventually managed to get off the field.

He entered the blue medical tent for further treatment and then walked off the field before being taken on a stretcher to the locker room. Rookie Olu Fashanu came in to replace him in the fourth quarter.

Rodgers’ sack came just moments after Uche was penalized for a brutally late hit on the quarterback.

But it turned out to be the perfect return to MetLife Stadium for Rodgers, just 12 months after suffering a season-ending Achilles injury four plays into his Jets debut.

We will continue to report more.
