Willow Gardner and Aaron Rodgers have continued to show off their bromance on social media after the Jets cornerback gifted the veteran quarterback a No. 8 chain to mark his arrival in New York.
In April, Gardner, 22, tweeted that he and his jeweler, Al, “got something” for “ARod,” aka Rodgers, 39, along with a diamond emoji.
Two months later, and on Saturday, Gardner handed the chain over to Rodgers as Rodgers worked on conditioning it inside a Jets facility.
“Listen to me, listen to me,” Gardner said at first. So you’re my jewelers’ favorite quarterback. You know what I mean? Al, the jeweler.
‘So she wanted to cook something special for you… she brought me the idea, I told her I think it would be a good idea…’

Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner, 22, gifted a No. 8 chain to his ‘brother’ and quarterback Aaron Rodgers, 39.

Rodgers’ new gold No. 8 chain has been embellished in the primary colors of the Jets: green and white.

In April, Gardner revealed that he and his jeweler, Al, “got something for ARod,” aka Rodgers.
Then Gardner, who was drafted by the Jets as the fourth overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, opens a black jewelry box to reveal the No. 8 chain, emblazoned in Gang Green’s colors of green and white.
But that wasn’t all, as Rodgers tells his sophomore teammate, “You’ve got to put it on me.”
Crossing his arms while wearing a ‘Phase Me’ T-shirt, Rodgers smiles as a Jets staffer can be heard listening to footage of the franchise of the moment on Twitter in the background.
“Thanks man, I appreciate it,” Rodgers told Gardner as the couple hugged.

The two players have formed a close relationship since Rodgers was traded to the Big Apple from the Green Bay Packers in June.
Gardner not only revealed his delight at the addition of the four-time league MVP to the Jets’ roster, but also got to hang out with the 2011 Super Bowl at a Knicks playoff game, which was also attended by actress Jessica Alba.
Rodgers and Gardner have also been seen having fun together at Jets practice as the team prepares to face the Cleveland Browns in the Pro Football Hall of Fame game in Ohio on Aug. 3.
Jets head coach Robert Saleh has strongly suggested he won’t play his starters in the highly anticipated matchup, though he has yet to confirm whether Rodgers will be left out of the contest.
