Aaron Rodgers and his new replacement Jordan Travis already agree on one thing: Ayahuasca.
The 40-year-old New York Jets quarterback and psychedelic advocate drew attention by liking a post on X that referenced his enthusiasm for the psychoactive drink.
“Get ready to learn ayahuasca, Jordan Travis,” one Jets fan wrote after the Jets selected the former Florida State quarterback in the fifth round of the NFL Draft on Sunday.
Not only did Rodgers endorse the post, but Travis himself also ended up liking a screenshot of it.
Rodgers has a known affinity for ayahuasca, a tea made from the stems of the Banisteriopsis caapi vine and the leaves of the Psychotria viridis shrub. During his frequent on-air appearances with ESPN’s Pat McAfee and the Joe Rogan podcast, Rodgers has often discussed his growing fascination with psychedelic drugs, admitting to using ayahuasca during a trip to Peru in 2020.
