Aaron Rodgers earned 81 DOLLARS through the NFL’s performance-based pay system after playing in four New York Jets offensive snaps this season

Playing four snaps this season with the New York Jets, Aaron Rodgers earned an NFL-low $81.14 through the league’s performance-based system.

The pay system offers incentives based on the amount of time played and base salary. Rodgers’ salary was $37.5 million last season, but he only played 0.33% of the Jets’ snaps last season.

That gives Rodgers the total, the complete opposite of a low-income player who was on the field for many of his team’s plays.

On the fourth play of his career with the Jets, Rodgers ruptured his Achilles tendon and did not play the rest of the season.

The hype train surrounding Rodgers quickly derailed as any New York playoff success disappeared as quickly as the 40-year-old did.

Rodgers flirted with a recovery from his torn Achilles tendon, wanting to largely buck the trend of a six- to nine-month recovery, but did not return to the field.

The controversial quarterback remained in the headlines while injured for his outlandish appearances shouting conspiracy theories on ‘The Pat McAfee Show.’

Rodgers was also recently considered the vice presidential choice for conspiracy theorist candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., before being rejected.

Opposite Rodgers is San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy, who had a base salary of $870,000 in 2023.

By helping the 49ers reach the Super Bowl and rarely missing action, Purdy nearly doubled his base salary by adding $739,795 through the pay system.
