New York Yankees star Aaron Judge opened the door to the visiting bullpen at Dodger Stadium while pulling off a spectacular eighth-inning run catch in Saturday’s 6-3 win over Los Angeles.

Judge, 30, might have saved a run for the Yankees with his sprint catch on JD Martinez’s understudy in the right corner of the field with Max Muncy at first base and no one.

The AL MVP grabbed the hold a moment before colliding with the bullpen door, which partially opened when he kicked it, while a stadium staff member was sitting behind.

Judge clung to the ball and remained upright while putting a foot in the bullpen, but Muncy was allowed to go second apparently because Judge technically left the field of play.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone briefly argued the referees’ decision to send Muncy to second.

The Yankees led 5-3 at the time of the judge’s catch, and reliever Michael King retired the Dodgers’ next two batters to send this high-profile interleague game to the ninth inning.

Judge hit his 19th homer of the season in the sixth for the Yankees, putting a 113-mph line drive into the short left-field porch at Chavez Ravine.

Yankees pitcher Gerrit Cole went undefeated with six four-hit innings before leaving early.

Jake Bauers also hit two two-run homers for the Yankees, who rebounded from an 8-4 loss Friday night in Game 1 of the top-tier interleague series.

Oswaldo Cabrera also homered for New York in the ninth inning against Dodgers left-hander Victor Gonzalez.

Cole (7-0) was sharp in his native Southern California, striking out five with two walks and allowing just one run on David Peralta’s RBI bloop single. But the Yankees retired Cole after a season-low 80 shots, reportedly because of cramp.

Clay Holmes pitched the ninth for his sixth save.

Michael Grove (0-2) drove in four runs in five innings for the Dodgers.

Rookie Miguel Vargas achieved a triple RBI as Los Angeles lost only the third time in its last 17 home games.
