Jamie Foxx is still in the hospital nearly a week after suffering “medical complications.”
The 55-year-old star is still in a medical facility in Georgia where he is undergoing tests, the people Confirmed on Monday.
Fox fell ill last Tuesday in Atlanta as he shoots his next Netflix movie Back in Action, alongside Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close.

However, on Friday, a source told People that Foxx is steadily improving.

The 29-year-old actress wrote, “We wanted to share that my dad, Jamie Foxx, had medical complications yesterday.
She continued, “Thankfully, because of the quick work and great care, he’s already on the road to recovery.”

At the time, sources confirmed to TMZ that Foxx’s unnamed condition was serious enough to require him to go to the hospital.

Friday, CNN It was reported that tests were carried out to determine the cause of his health scare and that the actor was under observation in the hospital.
“They are running tests and still trying to figure out exactly what happened,” said one insider.
Although his condition has improved, there is no word yet on when he will leave the hospital or return to imaging.
The film has been marketed as a return to acting for its co-star Cameron Diaz, whom he helped bring out of retirement, even though she plans to retire for good after a series of disasters on the film’s set.
Glenn Close also appeared in the film.
The treatment in the hospital was so serious that the actor’s family came from out of town to be with him.
“He’s communicating now, and that’s good news,” a source told TMZ, which may indicate that he was at some point unable to communicate due to a medical emergency.
