The pastor's wife, Mica Miller, pictured with her husband John-Paul Miller, was found dead in an apparent suicide in North Carolina.

A strange video shows the moment a pastor announces his wife’s death in front of his stunned congregation after forbidding them from discussing the issue in church.

Mica Miller, 30, was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound on April 27 in Lumber River State Park, North Carolina.

Her husband, a pastor, announced her death at their nearby church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, the day after she was found.

Robeson County police are now investigating, but so far no one has been charged.

The lack of information about Miller’s death has left friends and family wondering what exactly went wrong.

Miller told his congregation at Solid Rock at Market Common church that his wife’s death was “self-induced.”

“You all know that she was not well mentally and that she needed her medication and that it was difficult to get to her,” he said.

Before making the announcement, he asked his flock to stand and ordered them to “leave the church quietly and not speak about the announcement here in the building.”

‘I’m taking a little break, it could be a few days or weeks. I got a call last night, my wife passed away, yes, it was self-induced. […] “I’m just pumping adrenaline,” Miller’s husband said.

An obituary written by him also described his wife as “a great stepmother and an incredible wife and partner” and described her as his biggest cheerleader.

Kenn Young, Mica’s friend, is among those seeking answers about what happened.

‘At least this must be analyzed in depth. There has to be some responsibility here,” he said. WPDE. “Because yes, a tragic life was lost and it’s not as simple as mental health issues.”

Miller’s sisters have also alluded to questions about his death, posting with the caption ‘#JusticeforMica.’

‘Please don’t listen to the false stories being shared about her. Mica was a loving, joyful and God-fearing woman.

‘We know that many of you feel this heartbreaking loss with us. The fight is not over.’

Miller is originally from Wichita, Kansas and is one of five children, according to her obituary.

Court documents indicate that she had served her husband with divorce papers just weeks before her death.

The pastor’s obituary describes her as “energetic, affirmative, adventurous, faithful, loving, generous, forgiving, talented, cheerful, creative, assertive, bold, determined, authoritative, passionate, hard-working, willing to take risks and much more.”

In an interview with ABC15Miller’s husband reiterated that his wife had taken her own life.
