When a Texas mother walked into the bathroom of her local Hobby Lobby, she came across quite a face: another mother ordered her fresh-speaking son to do push-ups.
Molly Wooden, 24, said she was at the craft store in Killeen, Texas, when she saw the other mother who handed out her no-nonsense punishment and quickly took a photo to share on Facebook, along with her encouragement.
“We need more parents like you who are not afraid of having their own children brought up because of what someone else might think,” she wrote.

Parenting props: she praised the other mother for disciplining her child when he talked back
The image was taken from behind, without the knowledge of the other mother, with her face and her children’s face hidden.
The other mother holds a child on her hip and casually leans against the wall as she sees her other child pushing on the floor.
‘To the woman in the Hobby Lobby bathroom. If my hands were not full of children, I would have welcomed you, “Molly wrote.
“While your son gave you the story of the century, you remained calm and collected while you added 10 more push-ups to his growing number.
“He said,” Mama, this is the bathroom floor, rookie. ” She said, “Maybe you shouldn’t have been irritating. (They don’t have soap for nothing.) Another 10.”
“Random woman from Hobby Lobby, I love you,” wrote Molly WOoden. “Keep those boys straight!”
“Random woman from Hobby Lobby, I love you,” Molly concluded. “Keep those boys straight!”
The message has become viral and earned 53,000 likes and 10,000 responses – some negative, but many positive.
“I think it’s great, children nowadays have to get to know respect,” one mother wrote, while another cried: “Get rid of mommy! More parents must actually raise their children and stop trying to be their friend. “
“This is great, people may find this in common … but if you do this, you will teach a child respect, and some children today have no respect! Keep it up mommy! said a third.
Molly later updated her message and revealed that “they are connected to Facebook through the power of social media.”
“She immediately thanked me for posting this message, saying she appreciates the support and positive responses, and we hope to someday get some coffee … under the supervision of push-ups, that is,” she wrote.
Speak against ABC news, Molly said she is a fan of the strong parenthood of the other mother.
“First the parent, later friend,” she said. “When you have asked your child for something, such as the simple request to behave or to clean up after playing, and it is not fulfilled, the consistent consequence must be followed, regardless of the result that you indicated for their lack to promotions. You can’t go backwards. “
She added that “good” push-ups may not be suitable for everyone, “but” whatever discipline you choose, you must stand firmly behind it. “
