This year, the Democratic National Convention is pulling out all the stops to field a packed lineup of speakers.

President Joe Biden will deliver a speech on Monday, followed by a speech by Hillary Clinton. On Tuesday, former President Barack Obama will be the keynote speaker, and on Wednesday, former Democratic President Bill Clinton.

But it was just revealed that another speaker will be on the ticket, and some Democrats wanted to see this person replace Biden on the 2024 ticket instead of Vice President Kamala Harris.

Michelle Obama will speak on Tuesday before her husband’s remarks, The Chicago Sun-Times reported.

It has now been revealed that former first lady Michelle Obama will speak at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois on Tuesday.

The former first lady is very popular among Democrats and in polls conducted before Harris became the nominee, Michelle was the only potential Biden replacement who was beating Donald Trump in the polls last month.

In 2016, the outgoing first lady spoke at the convention as her husband was leaving office and uttered the now-famous line: “When they fall low, we fall high.”

As Democrats scrambled last month to find a potential replacement for Biden after his embarrassing debate performance against Trump, Michelle emerged as the only challenger who could beat the former president.

Although she has never held elected office, Michelle has promising poll numbers, an unusual popularity among voters and the ability to leverage her husband’s political connections.

An Ipsos poll after the debate last month showed Harris trailing Trump by 1 percent but Michelle leading by 11 percent.

More than 50,000 people will gather in Chicago for this week’s Democratic Convention, where Harris and Walz are expected to be officially nominated for the 2024 ticket.

After leading voices in the Democratic Party spoke at the convention earlier this week, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz will accept his nomination for vice president with a speech on Wednesday.

Harris will wrap up the event with her keynote address on Thursday, followed by a balloon launch.
