A state packed with amusement parks and music venues is named the most fun in the United States

Visitors to the United States may wonder which cities will offer the best value for money.

A new one study WalletHub compared all 50 states across 26 key indicators to determine the “most fun” state in the country.

The study compared states in two key categories, “Entertainment and Recreation” and “Nightlife,” which included indicators such as movie costs and the accessibility of national parks to nightlife options.

These are the 10 best states in the United States to have the most fun:

1. Florida

With its wealth of restaurants, amusement parks, arcades and music festivals, this southern state takes the number one spot on the list.

But for those who aren’t as interested in nightlife, Florida also has picturesque coastlines and a huge variety of arts, entertainment and recreation venues in its cities.

2. California

In addition to having near-perfect weather year-round, California also boasts the second-most attractions in the country, including the Golden Gate Bridge and Griffith Observatory.

The Golden State also boasts a wealth of performing arts venues, music festivals, and some of the best bars in the country. It also hosts one of the largest music festivals, Coachella, every year.

3. Nevada

Home to the party capital of Las Vegas, Nevada has long been known for its nightlife and stage shows.

But for those seeking a little tranquility, the state also boasts large spas and hotels with a multitude of facilities.

4. New York

Known as the “city that never sleeps,” New York City is home to people who speak around 800 languages, making it one of the most linguistically diverse cities in the world.

The city also has its own Theater District that is home to plenty of Broadway shows, outdoor cafes, and art museums like the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Museum of Modern Art.

5. Colorado

The state of Colorado is a favorite among hiking enthusiasts as it is known for its diverse landscapes, including the Rocky Mountains and the Great Plains.

Apart from this, the state has many attractions like Garden of the Gods, Denver Botanic Gardens, Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre, and Pikes Peak.

6. Illinois
