Sea lion meets an unlikely friendship with a dog named Asta after the playful couple saw each other on the beach

A social sea lion has made an unlikely friendship with a dog after the playful couple were captured together in the ocean just meters from the shore.
Ryan Waldock had walked his four-year-old dog Asta on Fremantle & South Beach when he noticed that the puppy was overly enthusiastic about something in the water.
Although they were two completely different species, naval skipper Ryan said the unlikely pair saw the best friends while they chased in the water.

The unlikely couple looked the best of friends as they enjoyed floating in the clear blue water
& # 39; She went swimming and the sea lion literally approached her. It was a really good interaction, & he said.
& # 39; They were swimming together for about a minute. They were both very calm and happy.
& # 39; Asta was very curious and I think the seal felt the same. They checked each other. & # 39;
Mr. Waldock initially said when Atsra got excited about something in the water he had no idea what was happening
Mr. Waldock has taken his dog Astra (photo) countless times along the beach, but he had never seen a sea lion before
Mr. Waldock said it was the first time he had ever seen a sea lion before.
According to the Australian Marine Conservation Society, the rare species are native to Australian waters and are currently in danger – with only about 11,000 Australian sea lions in the wild today.

& # 39; All my friends and family were very jealous that I could have seen it with my own eyes, but everyone really loved the video.
