This is the shocking moment when a passenger on a Ryanair flight unleashed a torrent of racist abuse against a 77-year-old woman sitting next to her, and she was moved.
You can see a white man and a black woman with a seat between them, while other indignant passengers try to calm the situation.
The incident occurred on flight FR015 from Barcelona to London Stansted on Friday afternoon.
The man (with glasses left and right) unleashed a torrent of racist abuse against the old woman sitting in a seat on a Ryanair flight from Barcelona to London Stansted.
In the dramatic images, which have been seen more than a million times on Facebook, the man can be heard yelling at the woman to move seats while her daughter tries to confront her, telling her that her mother is disabled.
He replies: "I do not care if she is disabled or not, if I tell her to leave, she will leave."
The agitated man hits the middle seat and continues screaming at the woman.
While pointing, he says: "I hope someone feels there because I do not want to sit next to you and with your ugly face, your ugly and ugly face."
The woman tries to answer and you can see a stewardess trying to calm the situation.
But before she can say anything in response to the stalker, he screams at her and says, "If you do not move to another seat, I'll push you there."
A man sitting in the back row tries to intervene, asks him to calm down and tells him that there is no need for his aggressive behavior.
The angry man then starts again with the woman and says: "Do not talk to me in a foreign language, stupid and ugly cow."
Then he adds: "I'll continue as far as I can with this ugly black b ******".
Other passengers try to help the woman before the stewardess approaches and tries to calm the man (left and right)
You can hear other passengers gasping and the man in the back row leans forward to put his arms between the man and the woman.
You can hear another man saying: "take him off the flight". Get rid of him when the stewardess comes back to ask the angry man that he's calm & # 39;
The woman is taken to another seat on the plane, away from the man.
The 53-year-old woman's daughter told the Huffington Post that the fight had started because the arthritis of her 77-year-old mother meant it took her a while to get out of the way so the man could reach the window seat.
The daughter said she had taken her mother, who is a Windrush Generation migrant who came to Jamaica from Britain in the 1960s, on vacation to commemorate a year since her father's death.
& # 39; My parents were married more than 50 years. She has felt very depressed and depressed, so I thought the trip would encourage her.
She continued: "I know that if I was behaving like him or any other black person for the case, they would have called the police and they would have kicked us out of the flight."
The woman (left) finally moves from her seat leaving the man alone in the row (right)
& # 39; Mama feels really upset and very stressed by this situation, in addition to the pain she is already experiencing. "As for me, I'm also upset about the whole thing: the fact that the passenger was not taken off the plane and how the situation was addressed," he said.
The woman said that when she had complained to the cabin crew, they denied hearing racial slurs and told her to call customer service on Monday.
Thousands of social media users have said they are outraged by the incident and that it has been shared more than 22,000 times since it was published by Kent resident David Lawrence.
One person said: "I should have been fired from the flight and she should have been transferred to FIRST CLASS."
Another said: "I should have been removed from the plane. There are no excuses for that kind of behavior.
"It's so sad that in today's society people still have a lot of hatred in them, when will we realize that we are all human and that we all bleed in the same way?
Several politicians expressed concern about the incident.
MSP for Greenock and Inverclyde Stuart McMillan posted: This is really awful @Ryanair. You will know the identity of the man and the level of training imparted to his staff.
The MSP political partner, Margaret Ferrier, said: "I just saw the shocking images on a plane from @Ryanair, totally disgusting, the male racist passenger should have been suspended from the flight before leaving.
& # 39; However, well done for the passenger with black shirt who intervened £ hero. & # 39;
A spokesman for Ryanair said: "We have reported this to the police in Essex and since it is now a police matter, we can not comment further."
The Essex police said: "It is believed that this incident, which we were informed this morning, occurred on a plane at the Barcelona airport.
& # 39; The Essex Police takes crime based on prejudice seriously and we want all incidents to be reported. We are working closely with Ryanair and the Spanish authorities in the investigation & # 39;
