A mile-high game filmed on a Swiss Air airliner has sparked a privacy investigation after crew members allegedly leaked the gripping footage.

The images show a couple having oral sex in the kitchen of a Swiss Air plane. The video was taken by security cameras controlled by the flight cabin.

The extraordinary scenes were filmed in November on the 12-hour Swiss Air flight 181 from Bangkok, the Thai capital, to Zurich.

The pair were apparently filmed by crew members after sneaking into the plane’s galley. Still images from the video show a woman kneeling in front of a man.

The raunchy clip has now surfaced on social media along with a lewd caption about the sex act.

The footage sparked an investigation by Swiss Air into privacy “violations,” and airline officials vowed to identify and discipline staff responsible for recording the video without the couple’s permission and posting it on social media.

Swiss Air media spokesperson Meike Fuhlrott said: “The filming of people without their clear consent, as well as the transfer of these recordings, contradicts our guidelines and values and violates current data protection regulations.”

Crew, he said, seeing the session on camera, should have “intervened directly” and not filmed it.

Mrs Fuhlrott added: ‘Our teams are known for their professionalism. We trust in the competence of our crews and are convinced of their capabilities.’

But the airline says both the images and the sarcastic comment were “disrespectful” to passengers.

Spokeswoman Fuhlrott said: “We want to know exactly what happened and how these recordings came out.”

‘The comment is disrespectful and does not in any way correspond to the professional standards, values and behavior we expect from our employees.

“Our passengers’ trust and respectful interactions are our top priority.”

The cameras were part of the crew security measures installed after the 9/11 hijackings. They are supposed to monitor any attempts to break into the cabin and are not supposed to spy on passengers, the airline said.

The spokeswoman said: “The cameras are used for access control and are intended to ensure security in the cabin.

‘Only what happens right outside the door is filmed; The cameras are not designed for any other purpose and do not record continuously.

“Inspection of the monitor by cabin crew is only permitted in exceptional cases, for example to document safety-related incidents.”

But the airline also reprimanded the passengers in the video, who have not been identified.

They said: ‘These acts are unacceptable. The behavior of our passengers is usually respectful and appropriate.’
