A plastic surgeon has revealed the cosmetic procedures he believes Kristen Wiig has undergone to achieve her anti-ageing transformation.
The Bridesmaids actress, 50, turned heads with her glamorous appearance on Saturday Night Live and at the premiere of Despicable Me 4 earlier this year.
UK-based Dr Jonny Betteridge suggests her transformation, which he says is “not possible” naturally, was due to a facelift.
She also claimed that she had Botox to smooth out lines on her forehead, had surgery to reduce the skin over her eyes, and had filler applied to her lips to give them more volume, all of which contributed to her new look.

It is not the first time the mother-of-two has been hit by surgery speculation, after reports that she had undergone a “nose job” also circulated online last year.
In a TikTok viewed almost 100,000 times, Dr Betteridge said: ‘Looking at her a few years ago we can see some of the classic signs of ageing – laugh and forehead lines, hooded upper eyelids, bags under the eyes and lower face laxity (sagging skin on the lower part of the face).
“It is certainly not possible to look like this again in a few years without surgical and non-surgical treatments.”
He continued: ‘I can see some characteristic changes in his features.
‘Her expression lines and forehead lines have been softened thanks to Botox, her eyes appear more open thanks to eyelid surgery, her nose is more contoured thanks to rhinoplasty and her lips have more shape and volume thanks to filler.’
I was comparing a photo of the star from 2013, where she appeared at the American Film Institute Festival in Hollywood, with a photo of her from 2024 on SNL.
On TikTok, Dr. Betteridge said she had probably gotten a facelift, too. She pointed to this 2016 image to show a scar next to her ear, which is typically where a person is left after a facelift.
He also revealed a picture of Kristen from the 22nd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards in 2016, which he said showed she had a facelift scar on the side of her face.

Kristen has not directly commented so far on the allegations that she has undergone plastic surgery.

“It’s a balance… you know,” he said, “some people are older and they manage to do some little things, like if they wanted to do them, they do them.”

She also faced speculation about her appearance after arriving at the Golden Globes in January this year.
And several commentators have said online that they believe she has had rhinoplasty to reduce the size of her nose.
