Strange wheelie idea! Watch as a fully functional bike with SQUARE wheels takes to the road

- The wheels are equipped with a tank-like track, which moves in a circle while pedaling
From a bike with shoes instead of wheels to an electric bike you can ride on water, a host of weird and wonderful bikes have been developed over the years.
But the latest invention is the most unusual yet.
The experts at The Q have developed a bike with square wheels that, while it may look cool, is fully functional.
“Please meet almost a regular bike but with one modification – square wheels!” They wrote in the description of a YouTube video showing the bike.
“The concept is fully functional and you can ride and spin.”

In the video, the team can be seen building the wheel rims by welding together metal poles to form a square.
Then the spokes are added, though these are just for aesthetics.
That’s because the outside of the wheel is equipped with a tank-like track that moves around the entire tire as the rider pedals. The square wheels stay put while the track moves around their edges to provide traction.
Finally, the wheels are attached to a standard bike frame, before the brave rider hops on and hits the road.
“Building and (fitting) square wheels on[a]bike was one of the craziest projects we’ve ever built,” Q added.
“Lots of interest guaranteed.”
As predicted by The Q, the video has garnered a lot of attention online, with over 1.1 million views at the time of writing.
Many fans left rave reviews on the YouTube video.
“Wow, this square wheel bike is a true testament to the power of creativity and innovation!” wrote one user.
It is amazing to see how something that seems impossible can actually be made practical and extractable.
“This project really pushes the boundaries of what we consider ‘normal’ and challenges us to think outside the box.

“Kudos to the creators for their ingenuity and daring spirit!”
Another added, “Man, thanks for the laughter (it was the whole stationary spoke while you were pedaling that tickled me)!”
But building a square wheel bike with a tank is exceptional! Great creative work.
Someone joked, “You should take the bike for a spin in a populated area, where people look in amazement and say, ‘What is that!?’ “
It’s still not clear how much the bike cost to build or if it will ever go on sale.
