A one-year prison sentence for the head of the Tunisian Ennahda Party, Rashid Ghannouchi (local media)
On Monday, a Tunisian court ruled a year in prison and a fine of 1,000 dinars (about 300 euros) against the head of the Ennahda party, Rashid Ghannouchi, who has been arrested for about a month, according to local media.
The case in which Ghannouchi (81 years old) was accused is related to what is described as “glorifying terrorism” and describing security forces as “tyrants”.
