Daedalic Entertainment studio has released a new trailer focusing on the tortured hobbit Gollum and how he is portrayed in the highly anticipated title The Lord of the Rings: Gollum.
The developer talks about Gollum’s divided personalities and his inner conflict and how this will play a huge role in the game’s story and gameplay, while also talking about the character’s visual design and how it will stand out from the movies.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum takes place during the opening chapters of The Fellowship of the Ring, and as its name might suggest, its story centers on Gollum as he attempts to retrieve the Ring from Bilbo Baggins. The game will take us on a journey through a number of iconic locations from Middle-earths, from Bard-dûr and Mirkwood to Mordor, and Gollum will have to rely on his stealth skills given his limited combat capabilities.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum will be released on May 25th for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, and Xbox One.
