An 11-year-old football fan and his mother were left devastated on Wednesday night after she claimed her Origin tickets were resold without her permission.
Nikki Healey and her son Carter travelled from Griffin, north of Brisbane, to attend the series decider at Suncorp Stadium in front of more than 52,000 fans, and she believes her Ticketek account was hacked.
“We got to the turnstiles and my ticket said ‘cancelled,'” he revealed Thursday.
(They then told us) ‘You’ve put your tickets on Ticketek Marketplace… they’ve sold out. You can’t get into the match.’
‘I even asked them if they could take us to our original seats and kick out anyone who was there. They said, ‘No, we can’t do that, they (the alleged thieves) own the seats now.’
Nikki and Carter, who were crying, had no choice but to leave the place.
She further alleges that the Ticketek offender used her own bank details on her account to receive the money for the tickets.
According Seven newsNikki intends to pass those details on to Queensland Police and her bank.

Carter was cheered up after a radio chat with Brisbane winger Corey Oates (pictured) on Thursday morning, with the football star offering tickets for the whole family to attend a future Broncos game.
On Thursday morning, Carter was encouraged after a chat with Broncos end Corey Oates on KIIS 97.3’s Robin & Kip radio show.
The youngster was invited into the studio where he met Oates, who autographed a Queensland Origin jersey for him.
Oates also offered tickets for the whole family to attend a future Broncos NRL game.
Carter told Oates his favourite Brisbane player is handsome fullback Reece Walsh, who the football star will now pursue for a personal video.
“We hope the bank can track where the hackers are coming from and take them down,” Healey told listeners.
“Never mess with a mama bear who has a fussy baby.”
