We are COVER stars! A mind-blowing new craze sees people using famous photos to impersonate their favorite celebrity
At first glance, there seems to be nothing out of the ordinary about these photos of politicians and celebrities.
But a closer inspection reveals a bewildering blur of reality, part of a viral craze that is sweeping the internet.
People have merged their bodies with the images on book covers, mostly biographies, as part of the so-called #bookface challenge.
The result is an ingenious blend of life and art. In these examples, readers like Alan Partridge, Margaret Thatcher, and Tom Jones appear by placing different covers to create a seamless image.
Those willing to participate in their own endeavor are encouraged to be ‘creative’ with their images – which may take a few tries to get just right.
You can upload your finished creations to Instagram by writing the hashtag #bookface in the caption.
