A “smoky bull” was caught on video tearing through a cornfield as firefighters responded to a raging fire in Alabama.
Several fire units responded to the scene of a one-acre fire in Leighton shortly before 2 p.m. Saturday, according to Deputy Chief Jordan Davis of the Nitrate City Volunteer Fire Department.
The department called in even more reinforcements to help fight the blaze, which left a blackened road and unleashed a huge plume of smoke.

An 11-second video shows the sight firefighters encountered as the huge plume of smoke swirled debris around the field.
“We would not have been able to control this fire without all the help from the responding agencies,” said Davis, who also thanked ‘The man who climbs the stairs to listen ‘Our prayer for rain upon us.’
Smoke tornadoes typically last only a few minutes due to the rising warm air, according to Fox Weather.
They are often harmless, but they can cause fires that act erratically.
The fire left a blackened road as several fire units responded to the scene.
