This is the hilarious moment a huge Asian carp punched three toddlers in the face and sent one of the frightened youngsters flying after jumping onto his family’s boat.

Emily Carter of Owensboro, Kentucky, and her husband Brandon took their daughter and two sons out on their new boat John on Sunday, just two hours after purchasing it.

They were in the water for only a few minutes when a large carp flew through the air, hitting their preschool-aged son Henry in the face and onto the floor of the boat near his father. WBKR Radio reported.

Her daughter Reece, a second-grader, and her youngest son, Thomas, were also shaken by the fish, causing them to jump into Emily’s lap.

The mother-of-three, whose video of the incident went viral after racking up more than 35 million views on TikTok, joked that “the kids LOVE the new boat!”

The Carter family had just gone out to a pond in West Davis County when the hilarious incident occurred on Sunday.

“We were in the water for maybe a minute and Brandon started the motor and fish just started flying everywhere,” Emily told the radio station.

She explained that Reece, who looks visibly upset at the start of the video, “was crying at first because one (of the fish) had splashed her and that scared her.”

Emily says the fish had calmed down a bit, so she decided to pull out her phone to take a “spontaneous video of the kids being sweet.”

“Thomas was very involved,” she recalled, noting how he tried to calm his sister down before “everything blew up.”

Henry, who is “still processing the trauma,” does not want to get back on John’s boat, Emily revealed. He is seen crying, alongside his sister, during the incident.

A large carp flew towards the boat and knocked Henry completely backwards, his feet flailing in the air. It then scratched Thomas’ head and then hit Reece in the head.

“Then he hit the side of the boat and hit me and there was blood everywhere,” Emily added. Henry, who is “still processing the trauma,” doesn’t want to get back on John’s boat, she said.

Emily, who says her children loved the water and fishing before the incident, said they were lucky no one was hurt or fell into the water. She added that the situation serves as a reminder that “you should always wear a life jacket.”
