A massive fight broke out on an unassuming suburban street in far north Queensland with up to 50 people involved.
The altercation unfolded about 4.20pm on Saturday on McEwen Street in Mooroobool, Cairns.
Queensland Police confirmed an incident had occurred, but no formal complaint has been made.
Several participants in the altercation are believed to have been armed with knives and sticks.
It is not the first time the suburb has made headlines for violent behaviour.

A wild street fight took place on Dunbar Street on the afternoon of 22 July 2023, in which 30 men, women and children threw stones at each other..
Many also carried hammers and machetes.
Long-time resident Peter Walker said at the time that he had watched the alarming events unfold from his home, but was too afraid to leave the house.
“One guy had a knife, the other had a hammer and the other had a long stick,” he said.
‘The police arrived and blocked the street and people backed away and went in the opposite direction.
“There were children, women and dogs throwing rocks, plus a guy with a knife and hammers.”
The far north Queensland tourist destination of Cairns (pictured) has seen a rise in violent crime.
At a New Year’s Eve party in 2022, a fight involving up to 30 people ended with the stabbing death of a 17-year-old boy in Manoora.
A second 17-year-old Mooroobool boy also went to Cairns Hospital after suffering bottle stab wounds to his shoulder and kidney area.
According red suburbswhich tracks crime rates in every local government area in Australia, Cairns was ranked 84 out of 100 for its crime rate.
