A man and a woman were arrested after another man was allegedly shot in the leg at a suburban home in the middle of the day.
Police were called to a house on Ferricks Street in the northern Brisbane suburb of Stafford about 2pm on Sunday, where they found a man in his 40s with an unresponsive gunshot wound. his life in danger in the leg.
CCTV footage obtained by Nine News showed a man with an apparent leg injury limping into the house moments before a gunshot was heard.
Then a red Volkswagen was seen leaving the premises with three people inside.
Police, using Polair, tracked the vehicle which shortly after returned to the house. A man and a woman were later arrested.
The shooting victim was carried on a stretcher to an ambulance.
Police are understood to be searching for at least one more person believed to have been involved.
A police spokesman said there was no threat to public safety and it is believed the victim knew the two arrested.
