A Love Island couple have called time on their romance just weeks after getting too affectionate on a date.
Trey Norman and Abbie Quinnen appeared to have found a spark after the 24-year-old reality star revealed he had been DMing the dancer.
The hunk failed to find romance on the island after his split from Ellie Jackson, but reportedly hit it off romantically with Abbie, 27, right away.
The couple had recently started seeing each other, but just a month after they were spotted enjoying a romantic stroll in a park, the pair decided to split up.
A source said The sun that although the couple had enjoyed getting to know each other, they had decided to remain friends and not take things any further.

A source told The Sun the pair enjoyed getting to know each other and had a lot in common, but Abbie (pictured) and Trey’s busy work schedules kept them apart.
They added that despite being attracted to each other, their chemistry failed.
The source went on to say that Trey is focused on making the most of his post-Love Island fame, but they wish each other the best.
A source close to the couple said: ‘They remain very good friends and still talk all the time, it’s just a matter of distance and their busy schedules.’
Earlier this month, Trey seemed excited about a possible future with Abbie.
He said The sun On Wes Nelson’s single release was when they were just getting to know each other.
He said at the time: ‘It’s very quiet at the moment, I’ve been here a few times and she’s given me a lot of advice and helped me with the process.’
He added that he communicated with her through Instagram direct messages and they talked about their experiences of fame.
The reality star went on to say that they “get along really well” and that Abbie is very down to earth.
Earlier this month, Trey praised Abbie, revealing the pair had been visiting and hanging out and describing the dancer as “very down to earth.”
Trey is focused on making the most of his post-Love Island fame, but the exes are wishing each other the best.
The couple was also spotted taking a romantic stroll in a park and things were apparently moving quickly.
A source told The Sun: ‘Trey didn’t find love in the villa but as soon as he saw Abbie he couldn’t wait to ask her out on a date.
‘Things are moving quickly now and we have finally moved past the ’embryonic stage.’
She added that the new couple was exclusive but despite texting non-stop and attending red carpet events together, their romance fizzled out.
The split came as a shock to some after Trey took Abbie on a romantic date and was seen holding her hand as they left a restaurant recently.
Abbie was left heartbroken after her professional dancer partner, AJ Pritchard, suddenly dumped her.
The dancers split in 2022 after three years together and Abbie allegedly caught AJ texting another woman in October.

‘AJ is not the person I thought he was, after everything I went through with him I thought we would be together forever.
“He didn’t show any emotion and ended everything. He told me he didn’t love me anymore and that he didn’t want to be with me anymore.”
Trey was initially paired with Ellie and the pair met during Casa Amor week, but later split after she revealed she felt he was more interested in fame than her.
