George Clooney was auctioned off for an “intimate” night in New York City on September 24. The event raised more than $500,000 for charity through Charitybuzz and DailyMail.com has the exclusive photos.
“George was amazing, he was a great host and talked to everyone. It’s hilarious!” a source told DailyMail.com. “He was incredibly charming.”
‘His wife Amal was also there and was very kind, friendly and approachable, a real delight, everything you would expect from her.’ However, Amal was not photographed at the VIP event.
The lucky winner from the charity, who asked to remain anonymous, brought a guest at the private cocktail party with the ER veteran, followed by a dinner that included two dozen other people.
Guests included Charitybuzz Access (private members club) Director Ramona Brodsky, Charitybuzz CEO Ben Erwin, and Rory Tahari, Partner at Tahari Capital.

It was called Goodnight with George Clooney. And it was for a good cause: the money will benefit the Clooney Foundation for Justice.
The intimate gathering of 20 high-profile philanthropists was held at the home of Rory Tahari of Tahari Capital.
The event “highlighted the intersection between business leaders and philanthropy that drives social impact,” according to a press release.
“The Clooney Foundation for Justice brings justice for human rights abuses around the world,” a press release added.
‘The foundation has multiple programs (TrialWatch, Waging Justice for Women and The Docket) that are dedicated to achieving justice for the most vulnerable among us.’
It was an “intimate dinner setting.” White wine was served and red roses can be seen on the long table.
In addition to George and Amal Clooney, the private event brought together 20 philanthropists from the Charitybuzz community for “cocktails, dinner and conversation.”
