Killer bugs are natural predators of termites, caterpillars, and grasshoppers and are found throughout Australia.

Known as killer bugs, these insects feed on caterpillars, termites, and grasshoppers
They ambush their prey and paralyze them with their saliva.
According to the Australian Museum, “the liquid immobilizes the prey and dissolves its tissues.”
If provoked, the killer bugs can bite humans. Their venomous bites are instantly and intensely painful. If you’ve been bitten by a bug, be sure to wash the bite and apply disinfectant as needed, advise experts from Pest World.
